Envisat Sample Data Products

ASAR Wide Swath full product over Galicia, Spain: this special acquisition was made during the breakup of oil tanker "Prestige" on 17 November 2002. Access here.

Envisat ASAR and MERIS, ERS 1/2 SAR, Proba CHRIS Change Detection Datasets: A dataset of synthetic aperture radar acquisitions of ENVISAT ASAR and ERS 1 and 2 SAR, plus some optical acquisitions of ENVISAT MERIS and CHRIS/PROBA, was made available to the user community following the Asian tsunami of 26 December 2004. Interested users should contact the EO Helpdesk to obtain the dataset package. Details of its contents can be found here.

Bam earthquake: Envisat ASAR dataset package: A dataset comprising ASAR Image Mode Single Look Complex data (IMS) was made available to the user community following the Bam Earthquake of 26 December 2003. Interested users should contact the EO Helpdesk to obtain the dataset package. Details of its contents can be found here.

Generic Envisat Sample Data Products: A set of generic sample data products can be found below. Some of the older data products were originally distributed on CD-ROM at the Envisat Calibration Review meeting on 9th September 2002; others have been added in order to provide the user community with a set of generic samples of most Envisat data products.

Note: Some of these files are extremely large, up to 400 MB in size. Storing and extracting a typical ASAR datafile requires up to 1 gigabyte of free space on your hard drive.
The data products provided here have been provided in .zip format in order to reduce their download sizes.
