meridional wind

The wind that corresponds to the northward wind, or the wind that blows along a meridian.

ozone content

A naturally occurring trace gas, chemical formula O3. In the stratosphere, it serves to absorb many harmful solar UV rays.

relative humidity

The relative humidity is the percent of saturation humidity, generally calculated in relation to saturated vapour density.

water vapour content

Water in gaseous form, esp. when evaporated below the boiling temperature.

zonal wind

The movement of air in a dominant west-east or east-west direction.
